- Full Form: District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA)
- Purpose: To ensure the effective coordination, monitoring, and implementation of centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) in a district.
- Chairperson: The Member of Parliament (MP) of the district (preferably an elected Lok Sabha MP).
- Members Include:
v MLAs of the district
v District Collector (Member Secretary)
v Local government representatives (Panchayat leaders)
v Senior district-level officers of different government departments
- Frequency: Meetings must be held once every three months (quarterly).
