January 10 was chosen as the date for the launch because it is celebrated as World Hindi Day, marking the first World Hindi Conference held in 1975 in Nagpur, India.
The day is observed globally to encourage the use of Hindi as a medium of communication and to celebrate its rich linguistic and cultural heritage.
