  • The scheme is implemented through local bodies such as Village Panchayats, Panchayat Unions, Municipalities, and Corporations.
  • Public and private contributions play a significant role in project execution.
  • Funds are utilized for basic infrastructure development such as:
    • Roads
    • Streetlights
    • Drinking water supply
    • School improvements
    • Health centers
    • Sanitation facilities
  • 50% of project cost is borne by the government, while the remaining 50% comes from the public, NGOs, or private sponsors
