1. The Centre has increased MGNREGA wages by 2% to 7%, amounting to a hike of ₹7 to ₹26 across states.
  2. Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, and Telangana saw a ₹7 hike, while Haryana received the highest hike of ₹26, reaching ₹400/day.
  3. In 2024–25, Goa recorded the highest wage hike of 10.56%, while Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand had the lowest at 3.04%.
  4. Tamil Nadu’s MGNREGA wage was increased by 5.33%, from ₹319 to ₹336 per day.
