Dr. S. RAMMOHAN

Subject: Ancient History, Art & Culture

Dr. S. Rammohan is IRAS (Retd.) and holds six postgraduate degrees, besides Ph.D. and M.B.A. He was given the award for outstanding performance among all Officer-Trainees at the LBS National Academy of Administration, the premier Institution for training Civil Servants. Dr. Rammohan has published papers on subjects like governance, Economic Analysis, Ancient Indian History, Tamil Literature, IT for Development, Philosophy and Stress Management etc.

Shri. V. MONIKANDAN

Principal – Chinmaya Academy for Civil Services
Subject: Geography, Science & Technology, Environmental Science

He is the former Director of Monikandan IAS Academy. He has done his graduation in B.Sc Chemistry. He has got deep subject knowledge with 18+ years of experience in teaching for UPSC Civil Service examination and TNPSC examination. He is an expert in Geography.

Shri. R. SREEDHAR

Subject: Medieval History and Modern History, Post-Independence

He has a Master’s degree in History with an experience of more than 16+ years in teaching for UPSC Civil Service Examination. He has the tenacity to handle his subjects with ease.

Dr. SK. MURUGANANTHAM

Subject: Indian Polity and Constitution

He has a Postgraduate degree in Computer Applications and has done Ph.D in Computer Engineering. With 12+ years of experience in teaching for civil service examination, he always takes extra care to make his class interesting and exam-oriented. His ability to combine his subject knowledge with practical application makes his class highly engaging and most sought after.

SHRI K. PURUSHOTHAMAN

Subject: Economics

With a Masters in Psychology and Public Administration, Mr. Purushothaman has more than 14+ years of teaching experience in Civil Services Exam with overall 20 years of experience in teaching. His domain expertise extends to Economics, Ethics and Environment. His expertise in coaching and mentoring is one of the key success factors for several successful candidates.

SHRI. G. SUNDARAPANDIAN

Subject: Geography

An Associate Professor in a reputed Engineering College, he is pursuing his Ph.D.  Though from an Engineering background, his love for Geography prevailed over. He has more than 14+ years of experience in teaching for Civil Service examinations.

SHRI. S. SUBRAMHANYAN

Subject: Ethics, Essay Writing and Current Affairs

He is IRAS (Retd.) and a former Additional Member of Railway Board. Besides a postgraduation from Delhi University, he has a postgraduate (M.Phil) degree in Public Administration from International Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Paris, France. Mr. Subramhanyan was selected twice to the prestigious Indian Police Service, but he chose to continue in the IRAS due to his love for Railways. He retired as Additional Member of Railway Board, Government of India. It was during his tenure as Senior Professor in the National Academy for Indian Railways (NAIA) that he gave certain recommendations to the Alagh Committee on Civil Services reform leading to special focus on Ethics through a separate paper introduced into the exam pattern from 2012.

DR. A. V. RAJAGOPALAN

Subject: Ethics, Integrity & Aptitude, Essay Writing

Dr. Rajagopalan has done his Ph.D. in Reforms in Government Finance and Indian Culture & Sanskrit. As a professor in the field of Human Skills he has an experience of two decades of mainly addressing esoteric areas like Cross Cultural Interactions, Ethics and Communications.

PROF. UTHAMKUMAR JAMADAGNI

Subject: International Relations

Dr. Jamadagni is the Head in Charge, Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Madras. After earning a Doctorate from University of Madras, Dr Jamadagni also received an Advanced International Diploma from the Dept. of Peace and Conflict Research at the University of Uppasala in Sweden. He is a visiting Faculty in Armed Forces Institutions like Defence Services Staff College, Wellington; National Defence College, New Delhi and Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

DR. M. VENKATARAMAN

Subject: International Relations (Organizations)

Dr. M. Venkataraman is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Madras. Earlier, he served in various capacities abroad. His last position is Associate Professor of Political Science and International Relations, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia between 2004 and 2014. He was also a visiting Professor at the Department of History and International Relations

SHRI. JAYESH J.L.

Subject: CSAT – English

He holds an executive MBA degree from Harvard University in HRM. He has more than 17 years of experience in training students for MBA entrance, Law entrance, MAT, GMAT, IIT-JEE, CAT, GRE, CA-CPT, CSAT, Bank Clerical and BBA. He is a prolific trainer who can capture the students’ attention with his energetic talk.

Subject: Environmental Science

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He has done his Postgraduation in Political Science. He has got 6+ years of experience in teaching for UPSC Civil Service examinations. He attracts students with inimitable style of teaching.

He has graduated in BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He is a passionate teacher of Economics, Indian Polity and proficient in Current Affairs with an excellent backing of subject knowledge. He has 5+ years of teaching experience and has held several seminars in reputed Institutions around India.

He has completed his graduation in Civil Engineering. He has the reputation of being an Ex-SEBI Assistant Manager. He has 4+ years of teaching experience. He is a passionate faculty in International Relations and Current Affairs.

He has graduated in Civil Engineering. He is the Content Developer and Faculty for Ancient & Medieval History  and Current Affairs. He has 4+ years of teaching experience and is an enthusiastic content developer for the Academy.
